Carmen Rustenbeck has been involved in non-profit work for over 20 years. By creating and implementing a development plan that details how the organization gains members to create a powerful voice for the industry, and identifying areas of service never before provided Carmen's experience lead her to start a 501 c6 Professional/Trade association 15 years ago. She continues to act as CEO for that international association as well as serving on several boards around the United States. In 2023 Carmen accepted a board position with the Las Cruces Symphony and now serves as the Board Treasurer and Interim Executive Director (volunteer) as she works with the musicians, conductor and the board to build a stronger Symphony for the Las Cruces Community. Carmen holds a BS in Management, with a minor in liberal arts a minor in vocal performance. She also has a certificate in The Cycle: Management of Successul Arts adn Cultural Organizations. Her awards include: 2018 Women of Influence, Silver Stevie® Award winner for Female Executive of the Year – Government or Non-Profit
